Remembering

A year ago... our worlds changed. We went from "when?" to "she's coming!!" I received the sweetest day-before-my-birthday gift I have ever received-- news, those two beautiful letters to an adoptive family of a child from China, TA! We had no idea of the struggles we would endure through an entire year of her being home. We had no idea of the joys we would celebrate. We had no idea who she was, what her smile looked like, how she sounded when she cried, how she would relate to our other children, how she would fit into our family. But here we are a year later, reflecting on the sweet moments of time between TA and her Forever Family Day, when we had no idea how our lives would change... for the better.
