Sorry. Not much to report. Here's a bit of encouragement, though! According to the small sampling of folks logged in to USCIS on the Rumor Queen website, it would seem that wait times for approval are decreasing!! While I'm not expecting to have approval for a few more weeks yet, we are quite hopeful that we at least will not exceed the 90 day maximum window that USCIS strives for. Our approval should come at the end of January. At that time, we can get all of our documents authenticated and SENT OFF TO CHINA!! We are kind of cutting it close on this one, but our medical exams reach their 1 year point on March 6th, so we're REALLY hoping to not have to redo them. Steve's doctor, as some may recall, was a little bit of an idiot when it came to this. That's all for now, we'll keep you updated!
p.s. we'll start looking at files once we get documents off to China-- on the other hand, we're so close... maybe we'll start looking the next time files come out to the shared list! Please continue to pray for us.

Thanks for the update. I was going to e-mail you this week and see how things were going. I really hope the USCIS gets rolling! I will say, if we get to where you are and all you are waiting on is one thing, we will probably look at files.--I say that now, huh?: ) I will pray for you guys as you make that decision which I can only imagine must be incredibly tough to make.
We seem to be creeping along too. I want things to get going, you know? We have been working on finishing our PAP work this weekend. We have more to go this week. In God's time huh? First I have to get the family over this sick stuff! Have a great week
hugs from TX,

What exciting news!! Our paperwork may be getting mailed off tomorrow. According to our SW, it has to go to Alabama DHR, where it will take about 4 weeks to process and then to the main place (in Illinois, I think??), where she told me to expect about 8 weeks. We will see!!! So glad you are moving right along. Isn't this exciting???
It's so hard when it feels so far away and yet so close you can almost taste it! Come on approval! You are in my thoughts & prayers. No loco doctors required. ;0)
We'll be praying you're all logged in before those physicals expire!!!
So excited to see what God has in store for your family. I know it's going to be wonderful. :)

Praying for your approval to come in time so you don't need to explain it all over again to some crazy doctor and have a traveling notary arrive on site, and well, doesn't it go on and on?! In His time. Praying for His guidance in opening your hearts to the next addition of the Johnson Family! Happy New Year!
