QUICK somebody pick me up...

Oh my gosh! I am such an idiot. So, I was all excited that I had sent off my I-800A yesterday. Well, I was just checking my adoption file folder for something else and guess what I found?! You can't imagine, can you? Why, I found a CHECK written out to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for the amount needed to process said I-800A and fingerprints. I could just SCREAM right now. I need a day off. Or a few prayers.

Relax- Call the Chicago lockbox number and explain what happened. Tell them you will overnight the check to them. They hold them a day or 2 before sending them to the NBC anyway. Let me know if you need to number. I know I have seen it somewhere recently.

Sharon,
Thank you, unfortunately, I did call and they said they would not be able to match a check with a file... it was worth a try.

Hang in there - I know that this stage of gathering all your referral docs and such can make you nuts! I hope you get it all done soon.

ARGH! That sounds just like something I would (will) do! I am so sorry. I will pray. Keep us posted.

Hang in there girl. There's reasons for everything! You'll get it done in God's timing! I'm continually reminding myself of that. I'm stoked that we're at the time point! Kind of crazy! You're in my prayers. :-)
