7/13/09- Article 5 issued
7/2/09- NVC cabled paperwork to Consulate
6/26/09- I-800 approved/sent to NVC
6/16/09- LOA!!!!!!!!!! (day 67!)
4/20/09- Preliminary Approval (PA)
4/10/09- LID rec'd and LOI finally gone to China!!!
3/31/09- LOI to agency for our little girl!!!
3/31/09- DTC, BABY!!!!
3/11/09-Recv'd last doc from Sec of State/docs sent to Chinese Consulate
3/3/09-Docs authenticated by Sec of State
2/4/09-home study update for expiring documents
1/22/09-I-800A approval from USCIS!!
12/3/08-Fingerprint appointment
11/1/08-Logged in to USCIS
9/4/08-Home study visit to update for China SN
7/31/08-Turned 30! Now we qualify for China!
7/08 Made final decision that Taiwan is not for us
4/21/08- Home study complete
3/27/08- Second home study visit
3/3/08- First home study visit
2/23/08-Steve's passport arrived--that was quick!!
2/22/o8- Coco's passport arrived (I know, not that exciting, but I've got to take it where I can get it!)
2/5/08- Accepted by agency for Taiwan program
2/1/08- Made the decision to adopt from Taiwan using ASIA

update

Okay, first of all, I know that I have a million comments and I thank you all for them! I can only get about half of them for whatever reason and i think I will have to see the rest at home. I love hearing from you all out there in blogland.

Secondly, I have had so many requests for pictures and just haven't had time to deal with them, so I am going to direct you to a journal that Steve started for just such a purpose. Keep in mind, all pictures of Ping Ping playing and having fun are with STEVE ONLY :) I'll write more later, just wanted to give a quick update. Slowly but surely, it seems that LilyJoy is coming out of her shell. I wish you could see her walk-- we call her FrankenPing. Anyway, if you want pictures visit www.stevencocoj.livejournal.com.

AwesomeCloud and family said...: My husband will be relieved to learn that some children choose the daddy first. I think he's bracing himself to be second best, but he also has the impression that he may as well resign himself to it, because that's the way it works. It doesn't always!

I should also prepare myself for the possibility of bonded to second. It's gotta be hard to find yourself in that position, huh? What happens, happens... and I'm sure both of our husbands are good people for our children to choose.; August 18, 2009 at 7:48 PM
