We're Not Alone

Well, I'm trying to keep my chin up these crazy adoption days. I've had so many encouraging conversations with folks from the adoption boards that it's not a hard thing to do... but nevertheless, we are having to face some difficult truths about our adoption. It also seems that more and more people are realizing that the orphanage situation is not what we all signed up for (ie. no referrals). We will have a few big and very hard decisions to make in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned to find out where God is leading us!

I'm so sorry this is not happening the way you'd hoped. (I can relate to that). But you will one day be holding that sweet child and this will all be a memory. Thinking of you...

Don't worry hon. God has a plan. Just when it seems darkest, His path will show up and you will know the way to go. Just hang in there... I am with you, just in a different room of the process as you know.. and well, neither room is fun, but require faith and trust in our Lord and savior!!

Courtney,
I am so sorry about what is going on....I wonder why adoption has to be so hard... Just hang on to that hope that YOU ARE supposed to adopt... when things kept falling apart in adoption for us, that's the only thing that kept us going... Don't give up on God's plan for you. If often isn't what we think it will be, but in the end, you wouldn't want it any other way... hang in there..
