Just a quickie here to end this totally stressful week. We chatted with our agency, told them our woes, were very honest that we had concerns and have decided to re-do our physicals to buy ourselves some time (documents can't be more than 1 year old, ours are approaching that end of Feb). By doing this, we will extend the time we have to look for our little girl before sending in our dossier, thus not really leaving this agency per se, but staying open to the possibility of another agency finding our child. We didn't exactly get a straight answer about whether or not there would be a fee with USCIS to switch agencies, but it sounded like there wouldn't be, so we went ahead and sent in our final paper for immigration approval!! So, to make a long story short, all we have left to do is authenticate all of our documents and then we will be DONE with the paperchase, PRAISE THE LORD!!! Then, we just sit back and relax until we find our daughter (ha ha).
Thanks for all the prayers, everyone. I needed them this week and I felt really lifted up.

I'm not sure about the I 800, but we had one free change on our I 600 when we changed it from Taiwan to Korea. There was no charge. We didn't have to put anything about the agency because that fixed itself when we filed the I 600A stating the specifics about the child - we just put the new agency on that form.
Keep looking everywhere and then you can figure it out when you find her. I'll be thinking of you!
I'm not sure about the change either but I know you can find an answer with China Adopt Talk if you want to check it out. I was holding my breath for you too. I feel for you... I just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you and wishing and praying for good things for your journey.
Wishing good thoughts and prayers your way! And...a quick and painless paperchase!
Wow! you are almost there! I am so excited for you! We are getting closer to being HS ready.....
Keep me posted how things are going.
hugs from TX,
Shannon
