Okay, I was seriously feeling grumpy when I started watching this video, but I couldn't help laughing by the end of it...

WOOOOO-HOOOOOO! We just got word that ASIA has our completed home study and we are officially "in line!" Now, we'll just wait another 2 years or so to see the face of that beautiful baby girl!! Wow, two years...?

Amusing April

I am absolutely shocked to look at the last entry being in March. April is almost gone now-- and it's STILL SNOWING!! Although this may not be unusual in other parts of the country, let me be the first to say IT IS NOT NORMAL. I am really trying hard to start my garden, but the weather is just not cooperating. Well, no, that's not true because last weekend it was 72 degrees out-- WHAT??!! Whatever. I'm just going to sit here and wait for the next weather system or the final draft of our home study, whichever comes first.

Umm, God, have you checked your calendar lately?

What a weird week this has been, weather-wise! In February we had two GORGEOUS weeks of sunshine, probably reaching the high 50's. I was out working the ground of my soon-to-be garden, it was great! Then this week, we have had no less than FOUR DAYS of SNOW! We've had slight accumulations here at our house for the past 3 days-- it's just bizarre! And here it is the last day of March. I think I'm done with winter.
